Hello all. Allow me to introduce myself. I just switched over from the other site due to the continued endorsements of fraudulent behavior. My wife and I are traveling the country on work contracts and bought the GC SRT8 as a pack mule. We are now in Merced, Ca (ugh, but we are only here for 8 more weeks and then it is on to, hopefully, more Northern California) via NC. We are going to San Francisco tomorrow and just looking for recommendations about things to do and see. We're open to just about anything. Thanks, escham
Welcome to the "C"... There are pleanty of NorCal guys here, and I am one of them (well I was born and raised there lol). Much to see and do. Obviously you want to tour S.F. Pier 39, Ghiradelli Square, KOIT Tower, Golden Gate Bridge/park. Hell, the entire city limits and neighboring communities. Go north to Half Moon bay. West to Santa Cruz/Watsonville area for GREAT beaches. While there, check out the many Artichoke store. mmmmmmmm Strawberries too. NorthEast and you are in Sacramento area. Fishing for sure. Deep Sea, Lake, River, Mountain. It's all there man. You will have so much to see and do, but always not enough time. lol Have fun. If you ever come out to Albuquerque, New Mexico, hit me up.
Welcome to the Connection!!! Visit Alcatraz Island! Haven't been there myself, but would love to go! Anything along the waterfront... if you like water! San Francisco is great! Been there once, didn't have enough time to do hardly anything! There is a lot to do there!!
Ron are you and Maureen sitting on the couch next to each other with 2 separate laptops replying to threads on this forum???????leasantry:
Hahaha!!! No.... Separate laptops yes!.... Funny thing about it is that Chris (Legmaker) says the same thing!!!!
Pretty much what Ron said sums it all up, lots to see in SF. I am from San Francisco and live 6 miles south of the City, but I spend every weekday in San Francisco in my 19 foot delivery truck. As far as the weather tomorrow it is going to be warm, but bring a light jacket because it gets quite windy in some parts of the city. Take the city tour they offer down by the wharf. Can't miss it, large red double decker bus, actual transplant from England. And if you park down in the wharf eat at a restaurant on pier 39, the validation is the best. Have fun and enjoy the beautiful city...
No I didn't!! That is so awesome. I LOVE that truck. Maureen, props to you, very cool. I like seeing other women into cars as much as I am.
Thanks Tamara! I thought that we had told you I have the 10 when you played chauffeur for us!! Hmmm.... I don't know! It was a long day!!!
There was that unfortunate incident as a baby when he got dropped on his head... [see below] So far so good. By the way, did you know that all of San Francisco proper is in a 5 mile square? Oops! Here Ron has moved to San JOSE. Please adjust your compass accordingly.
Maybe I'm just retarded and don't remember. Haha. Question is, do you get ANY traction at all?!?!
Sometimes is good enough! Ha! Well that's awesome. Hopefully if we ever meet up again, I would love to go for a ride in it!
