Turbos work wonders... I don't think our cars could sound ricey....
Well I am running a 3'' ED SEE with single resonator and 3'' 02 housing. ITs loud as hell, sounds like a dump truck! lol.

    It hangs too low.
The torca clamps like to loosen up easily it seems like, causing the exhaust to droop. Check it out for yourself... I raised it back up so its not like that now by the way lol.

SEE seem out of place on our cars. The only one that looks good is the Maxxfab. I could just buy the end pipe and have them weld that on, but whats the point.

I don't care too much about power gains. Going from a SEE to rear exit I really won't lose much power.

The SEE was an impulse buy on my half and I really wasn't a fan of it. Just couldn't pass up the good deal for a 3'' exhaust. The ED SEE is ugly. The rear exit will pep up the bland rear.

I would like a shop to custom reroute the piping to the rear from my SEE, but I will still be stuck with a raw steel exhaust. I think the MPX is the way to go.

Don't care for emissions, there are none out here.

oo then in that case.. i probably would like the MPx exhaust, but i would rather have inline muffler with a tip at the end.

stillaneon, yeah, that SEE is really friggin low.. i don't think i would like that at all, no offense, just not my style.

if i was to change my exhaust, here is how i would set it up.

use the INJEN midpipe (has a nice big resonator) and then run the pipe over the axle, with one tip on the drivers side. i thought about under axle (like i had on my turbo tib) but it seems like it would be too low.

yeah, thats what i loved about detroit, no emissions, but there are here.

you could always have the piping sandblasted and then paint it.. it would last a lot longer that way and be cheaper.

if the MPx sounds like a Scooby, that would be way to go, and for the fact its 3" SS.

Sandblasted then painted... Sounds more expensive. Tehres a sandblaster at the college I could use but I wouldn't trust myself on painting it. Too much work. I just want a nice setup. I know I can save a hundred or so going "custom" But that takes time and shit. rofl

Still debating. I told the selle rof the ED on Wednesday that I would let him know by the end of the week. I drive 16 miles each way for work. Rust happens because the condensation doesn't get heated away. (Short trips) I once and a while take short trips. Whats the average life of aluminized raw steel due to my driving conditions?

I also hear stainless can rust over time too...

    It boils down to this:

    I like them both equally.

The ED will probably be louder and sound better than the MPX. The ED is cheaper but its made of aluminized raw steel which seems to last given my situation. The ED is from a private seller. So something could screw up during shipping and handling. The MPX costs more but its made of stainless steel. It has a resonator and a muffler, not sure how much that will affect performance wise. The MPX is from a great vendor. I like the looks of the ED due to it not having a canister, but I really don't mind it. I am thinking out loud here! lol

    Sorry for the rant.

Well it all boils down to what you want. Its a hard decision... I can tell. Its looks to me though that your leaning more towards the ED just by your posts.

yeah, thats just a catback exhaust.

although, it looks like that exhaust is under axle which would be pretty nice for the flow.

No, theres a pipe that goes up and around the swaybar like all the other duals.

Well anyways the dude with the ED is trying to jip me. He had it forsale at $500 shipped OBO with a 3'' 02 housing. Now he told me to send him $400 via Paypal and we would work shipping out later.... Hahahahaha I am not stupid. I offered him $400 shipped. You can get that system brand new for $550 plus shipping so WTF.

i just got a used MPx housing that was on a car for approx. 10,000 miles and its in perfect condition. its also made very well from what i can tell.

its not complete junk. only thing that i can see being a potential problem is the fact it doesn't have a bracket on it. but the construction of the actual housing and fitment is great.
