Stanko/Mondello Heads in Action PART#1 (Video!!!!) ]Today was the first day of the Grudge Race season, I had 9 total races and got video of 5. My first 3 races were screw ups on my part due to imcompitence with the new camera. After perfecting the camera window mount and hitting record the proper way I got some video. Check out the passenger rear view mirror while racing, turn your speakers up. Here are the races boring version: 1.(win)Terminator 03 Cobra Mustang 600+ hp & DR's 2.(win)2005 Mustang GT Supercharged + DR's 3.(win)2008 ZO6 Street Tires & stock 4.(win)2002 SS Camaro DR's + all the bolt ons 5.(win)2000 something Mustang GT with a 4.6 Stroked Motor & Bolt ons 6.(win)2006 C6 Vette owner of the aboved Mustang and asked his friend "What he was doing racing a jeep.......not in a good way, so I proceeded to call him out and he ok,ok...after destroying the mustang I pull up next to his Vette and said "Lets go" and he repspectfully said no thanks, "You just beat my fast car"...................a WIN without racing! 7.(LOSS) Dodge Turbo Diesel, he red lighted but I lost anyaway 8.(LOSS) Supercharged C6 Vette on DR"s.....very fast mid 11 sec car 9.(LOSS) 06 GTO with DR's.......said he had tune, converter, full exhaust....I think he had spray. [/IMG] I'll let the video speak for itself, but my 0-60 via the DH has been consistent 3.9-4.0 and the jeep is now simply amazing, the so called "small 260 cam" in addition with the Mondello heads and CMR tune has turned the jeep into basically a rocket out of the hole! The best part is my 3rd gear revs out like 1st & 2nd.....I have less to worry about being caught now because 3rd is no longer taking forever to rev through. Traction from a Dig is still fantastic, with now just a tad bit of wheel spin when crushing the pedal from a dead stop, I was worried I would of lost traction with the new found power. Stay tuned more videos to come and E.T.'s this week weather permitting!
That was just awesome Kayce! And that GTO guy is a total f***en bullshitter. You were leaving them at the line like they were standing still. And that Turbo diesel was quick!
Thanks guys! The 3 videos I missed were all losses last year.....not now, which made my day. I think the GTO was spraying and yes that Diesel truck was fast. A very fun and exciting day.
Very nice kills. Lots of fast cars going down. Were any of these races for times or were they just first to the cones?
Thanks, first one to the cones Patrick. I'm going to try to get times this week if the weather permits....you know the saying "spring showers" Thanks Chris, that truck was quick, there is another one that makes that one look slow it does 11.9 in the 1/4.......owner said it pushes 650 HP & 1300lbsTQ:shok::mouth:
Thanks, I have never had the opportunity to actually be outside the car and hear it run down the track but everyone says it sounds really good and in the video I have seen it sounds pretty decent.
Thanks Tony and Lou....stayed tuned for more, my father will be back from vacation at the end of May so I will be able to do Driver POV and outside shots of the same race!
They are grudge match races with no timing equipment and relatively nearby, so if weather permits, Kayce's hoping to get to a track soon.
:thumb: Thanks Milan, you are correct. Chris, if the the weather permits I will be making a trip to Pittsburgh Raceway Park either this Wednesday (if I can get a sitter) or Saturday...(wifes day off).............I'm anxious to see how it does in the 1/4.......but my true passion are the heads up grudge races and also the reason for choosing this style of heads and cam.....alot of power early.
