Chrysler @ Irwindale

Last night some of the Chrysler reps were at Irwindale running a new 2008Challenger SRT8. The vehicle had Michigan MFG plates......I have to say it embarrassed all of us wearing the SRT8 badge. The thing never ran better than a 9.8 and every Mustang had there way with it!!!

I told them they should have stopped by House of Power before bringing it out!!! LOL!!!

Interesting bunch!

 

A 9.8..........oh great. I'm sure the stang boards are having a field day with that one. :dumb:

WHAT WERE THEY THINKING!!!!!!!!!!!...........should of at least had a 6.4 in it label as a 6.1 to quote "bring the funk". IMO not smart on their part and disappointing for the SRT8 communtiy.

 

I can see the headlines in Detroit "New Challenger under 10 Seconds at the Drags"

 

After you left Steve he made 2 more passes and ran 9.22 and 9.00.

 

That is weak...WTF?

 

That's sad!, I ran 9.0's all day long with my 5.7 and F1's. Who ever is responsible for this should be shot!. :bang::chair::bottom:

 

There excuse is, the driver didn't know how to drive or it wasn't broken in yet.....hahaha

 

Maybe or I hope they where just checking the 60 foots.

 

LOL his 60' were 2.15 and that sucked.
