http://www.webridestv.com/showgallery.aspx?gallery=70550 My wife and i decided it was time to trade in the Cavalier for something a little more room. so we went looking and yesterday we ended up getting a 05 GT Cruiser its white with black interior, its very comfey with a smooth ride and handles great. were gonna miss the cav, it was a good track car, but since its accident back in december we just couldnt rely on it like we use to. so check out the pics and let us know what you think!!!izza:
Nice Nev!!!!!!! So that's the Turbo motor, what's the hp rating on that ... and what mods do you have planned?? (and don't lie, WE KNOW you have mods planned, lol!)
stock numbers for 05 are 220hp and 245tq i have some old parts and extras from my car that im gonna throw on it this weekend. K&N SRI, Forge WGA, 577injectors, Check valve, 10mm wires, NGK 4306s, and an oil change
Thats a very nice car!!! I have never heard the term "cruiser" about these cars... what does it refer to? Is it an SRT4???
its pretty much an SRT, same motor, same turbo, just different body as for the Cruiser part its part of the name.
Very nice find Nevin! Looks great! Good luck with any future modding! I've only seen a few of those around my area, but I've only seen (1) modded one. They are nice little cars indeed with potential. Again, good luck with it!
Dont throw any mods on it, as they will be pretty ineffective without stage 1. get that first and then start tinkering with other mods on the car. You dont want to get any CELs as it is an automatic. It is a much better looking car than the Cavi, and a bit peppier too. Now get that car to run 14s at the track, and make it a reliable track car too. Goldline has some slammers springs for it. get em!
I love the interior looks but I'm not a big PT fan. But this one looks pretty nice. Is it any good on gas. I was thinking of getting an AWD Mag used for my side work but I am gonna have to get another side job to pay for the gas.
