Why?

Can I not get my fan settings to work?

I have programmed each setting (LF, HF, and MF) to my desired on temps, yet this is NOT working. ARGH!!!


Followed the instructions from the predator and YES, I reinstalled the tune.

NADA...

The funny thing is, they work when I reinstall my original Tune. ARGH!

maybe the trouble was caused during the Fanny smacking?

 

You did do it in both the A/C off section and the A/C on section, right? and not just the A/C on section.

 

Thats what I was gonna ask.

ron - are you sure the fans are working at all???? i had my low speed fans crap out when i had about 12k on the car. they had to replace all of my fans!!!

 

nahhhhhhh ryan, ron is very used to getting his fanny "smacked" by members of the EQ...... just ask him about the bathroom incident during spring fest....:whistle:

That and I have my fan switch control, so YES the fans work.

my fan control only works my hi speed fans ron. i wonder if when you flip that switch you hear the hi and not the low???? seriously, just wondering. i remember when my low ones took a crap, the hi worked with my switch, but the car still seemed to run hot until the high speed fans kicked in.

if the lows are for sure working, i am wondering if it may be within the temp range you are selecting???? total shot in the dark??? what temps are you setting them at on thr pred??

I'd like to see something official on this as well. Dam weird thing and it just happened to me too. Threw in an updated CMR tune and while tinkering with it we noticed after a while that engine temp was 219 and no fans all of a sudden. Well sticking a hand down there confirmed the fans were on low speed... but at 219 they should have been going insane. Very mysterious.
