Since nobody seems to know what the factory fan settings are(not even GOD himself..lol) so I'm asking you guys. I've lost my low speed fan and I need to take the car into the dealer next week. As a precaution I want to set the fan settings back to stock just so they don't ask any questions as to why they're coming on sooner...well at least the high-speed fan that is since its the only one working right now!!! Your knowledge would be appreciated.

:hmm:"while diagnosing your fan problem we DIDN'T notice that you seem to have a cam, torque converter, cats, some sort of tune and that your thermostat opens prematurely, but we DID notice that your high speed fans come on at a low temperature and we wanted to ask you about that. Not that we suspect anything.":naww::whistle:

By the way, you did say that one reason you don't want to go back to stock (other than the cam) is that you would lose your CMR tune? Why don't you have that saved on your PC? If there isn't an obvious mechanical/physical electrical problem they might just flash it to see if that fixes it.

I'm guessing that if it worked before and you haven't done any tuning with the predator since then and they stopped working now it may have to do with those fan relays. I have an early '06 Magnum and they're stuck on the radiator housing/shroud (I think they moved them since then, or maybe it was before then). You might just ask them to check that first. If you have used the Predator on it since then you could just check the fan settings to see if maybe the low speed value got changed or just set it and re-flash.

The latest revision uses the stock fan settings, anyone can go into the new revisions and see how they are set...

Ummm, Mike, you guys have some inconsistency there. You say that the performance tunes use the stock fan settings but, for example, the fan settings for the CAI 91 Oct tune are different than those for the Modify Stock tune. I'm assuming the Modify Stock tune has the factory defaults?

I'm kind of remembering the CAI 91 Oct tune has fans set at 210/219 and the Modify Stock tune has fans set at 217/226.

My dealer hasn't noticed the cam and I just got the TC installed this week. The only thing they know about is my exhaust and CAI. I've double checked my fan settings with the Predator and they're set exactly as there were with the CMR tune that HHP did. Low fan should be on at 185*. I put the A/C on and it doesn't come on so it appears the fan is dead or the relay is BAD.

Mike, I'm still running r18 so I'm not sure how to check the newer revisions as you stated. If someone could just tell me what they are that's all I need.

Just checking, you do know that there are separate fan settings for A/C off and A/C on right? One group is A/C off and under that are low mph and high mph settings. Then there is another group for A/C on (without the mph differentiator.).

Sure do...but with the setting for A/C on I always thought they come on automatically whenever the A/C system is turned on.

Ummm, good question. The Predator settings imply that you can set a termerature for them to come on when the A/C is on. So you might want your fans kicking on at different temps when the A/C is on than when it's off. Stock? I don't know. The settings in the predator might imply that it's temp controlled with A/C on when it's stock. Certainly that's the stock case for the high speed fans right? I don't know if, stock, the low speed fans are always on if the A/C is on. My guess is that, stock, the low speed fans are temp controlled with the A/C on (they cycle the A/C for defrost right? so you probably don't want to kick on any fans if it's below zero outside).

Actually now that I think about it I tried turning on my A/C this morning when I first started the car and the high-speed fan didn't turn on, but when the temps were in the mid 180's yesterday with my high-speed fan still off and then I turned the A/C on it then came on. So I guess they're temp. controlled by some sort of setting that I'm not familiar with.
