My only previous experience at this track was in July 2006 with my only mods being (ported heads, headers, Mopar CAI, Magnaflow Cat-back and ran a consistent 13.7-13.8 (I have an old video and I will find it if I can)

    Date: May 3rd, 2008

    Time: Approximately 8 p.m.

    Track Location: Wall, Tx

    Track Elevation: 2126 Ft.

DA: 3100+ most of the evening according to on-site analyzer

Not exactly a good track (in fact is is not even sanctioned...and has a LOVELY crosswind and not much prep in the middle of the NOWHERE)

7:57 p.m. Pass is made with car mostly cool, previous run was 7:43 p.m.

I ran a 12.37 at 111.52 with my best time of the night being a 12.26 at 112.69 on 28" 275/50/17 M&H Drag Master DOT Radials.

I come down the return road with ALL intentions to go cool the car down and do another run in about 30 minutes...but I see this pretty little thing going up to the starting line:

    Stats: (per http://www.2sportscars.com/fmodena.shtml )

    Price:$152,000

    Curb Weight:3065 lbs

    Layout:Mid-Engine/RWD

    Transmission:6-Speed Manual

    0-60 mph:4.2 sec

    0-100 mph:10.2 sec

So I pull up to the line even though my water temp is above 193* and I know the car is heat soaked.

    8:01 p.m. It happens

(Video to be added once I get it from the guy)

Time slips (Runs were 4 minutes apart):

Yall have to understand MY CAR ran with a 6.1L and the mods I listed a 13.7-13.8 at this track...it is not a NHRA or IHRA track cause it is C O U N T R Y and middle of nowhere...high elevation and sucky conditions but it being an 1.5 hours away it is the closest 1/4 mile to me.

That is the thing about sucky DA and high elevations where I live..yall look at my times and think...man that is slow..I drive 3 hours to Ennis Motorplex (home of the Fall O'Reily Nationals) with a 400 ft. elevation track and my car runs:

I live on a plateu area on the verge of the West Texas Desert...it just plain sucks :)

Nice Nathan! Congrats. Did you get to talk to him?

So crushing the ford focus inspired you to pick on something bigger?
That's a great starting line pic -- even your paint looks way better than his. Notice both the starters are eyeballing your car and no one's looking at the ferrari.

Nice kill, nothin better than taking down an exotic, specially an Italian one! BUT, gotta give the guy props for taking his Ferrari out to the strip there, how often do you see a 360 at the drags? Good for him ... he just needs to learn how to drive it, lol!

Tis true. So many people do nothing with their exotics...but leave them in the garage or cruise slow so the world can see them.
