    Ok here goes:
I was rolling down the highway here in Seattle and being traffic is horrible here it was stop and go. So at one point I am stopped and begin to take off and when I press the gas nothing happens. I mean nothing. Not even the engine rev'ing up. It was like the car was idle and not responding to the gas pedal.
So I let off and touched the shifter and it kicked in. It was weird.
I have had cars that had tranny issues and this was nothing like that.
Anyone go thru this or hear about this occurring in the SRT8? It seems fine now but to be safe I am taking it to the dealer on Monday.

One more annoying issue is in the steering. From time to time as I turn the steering wheel I hear something rubbing. It's almost like taking to pieces of canvas and rubbing them together. You fellas ever dealt with this?
My ride is still stock and has 12k on it.

    Thx

That's what I was going to say, have the dealer check it out for sure.

Ok fellas here is the latest. I just returned from having the jeep serviced for the above issues. Plus a new one that I forgot to post.

The steering wheel noise is something called the Clock Spring. Part being ordered.
The hesitation I had with the throttle, they THINK is fixed with a new software update they just got from Jeep. We will see how that works.
Of course now I get a Service 4WD System. The tech said it will go away and it normal sometimes after reprogramming. Basically just a fault code that can be cleared if it persist.
The drivers window had an issue with the pinch control software, so I thought. It would roll up partially when in auto mode (double clicking the switch) but only go up half way then jump down. They are going to install new motors. Being ordered as well.

So IF they are right then those solutions should work for a majority of you out there that are suffering from the same issues.

I experienced the "no throttle response" for the first time yesterday. I was in autostick mode in 3rd, rolling about 30mph and slowly pushed the pedal to the floor with no rpm or load responce. It feaked me out, thanks for the info.

Had this happen to me: Driving to the store, and at a stop sign, the dash goes all Close Encouters on me. Every light lights up and flashes. Then, it returns to norm. I go on my merry way w/o a hiccup. Go figure....

No worries, that Service 4WD light went off the next day and has not returned.
