Results Thanks Jim! I went to try out my 426. The "custom" CMR tune:sick: worked like crap and yielded a pass of 60-1.88/8.03@87mph. I have had nothing but trouble with fuel trims and idle quality. Out of curiosity I down loaded the Diablo 93-Octane CAI tune and low and behold the idle no longer surged and hunted. I added 1% fuel and 1deg timing and first pass 60-1.71/[email protected] ................next I ran the 93 CAI tune straight up out of the can it clicked off a 60-1.66/[email protected]. . Much better!!! The next and final run at 9:30pm I added 3+ deg of timing and 2% fuel to all tables and it slowed down to 60-1.82/[email protected] Curiously, when leaving I down loaded the 91CAI tune and holy crap I should have tried this tune!!! Talk about throttle tip in response and tranny response!!!! Maybe on a bigger engine more fuel and timing are definetly not desired.
Lots of guys say the 91 cai tune runs better than the 93. You see the DA sucked last nite as im sure theres a tenth or 2 left in the 1/8 and that will put you as fast or faster as your no2 runs. Let me no next time you go.
