Hey just going through my check list of things I have found 2 more problems. One My car likes to hold gears alot longer than normal. So much that she will rev, even when drove very easy to almost 3k before shifting in automatic. THis is not in every gear and seems to be particuarly persistant in the 3-4shift. Before anyone asks I did indeed remove my raised shift points paramater and the situation persisted. More disturbing is that I have adopted a very large and noticable "hole" in my shifting from 3-4. The car does not have a seemeless shift like in every other gear but instead seems to hang out in N for a split second before going into 4th. This is perticuarly noticable under any kind of aggressive acceleration and is present in both automatic and manual modes and actually causes the engine to rev higher in between the gears. Yes you read that right, the car almost seems to drop 3rd go into N rev up and then go to 4th. VERY strange and unheard of before my CMR. Anyone else have this??? or know what it might be??
I have also lost the abliity to use my cruise control at all. It just wont come on....anyone else have this??
I know what your talking about abd wit my B&G StageII I would get exactly what your saying only on the 2-3 shift once and awhile. When I ran my best time last summer 12.9 it occured, as Hemi31 said I also believe it is due to the HP/TQ increase and the management of it.
Yea my factory cruise sontrol is completly disabled now, I am forced to use my own makeshift one....the floorboard..
i have had a b&g pcm and now a custom tune from b&g and i have never had an issue with shifting anymore, let alone the cruise control!!! after my trek back to the west coast from florida, having no cruise control would have been MURDER!! lol
