That's right I am dropping the Jeep off:cry::sorry: with Daniel @ C&C Collision here in Waco to repaint my entire hood, front bumper and grille and paint the chrome piece on the bumber red rock along with the honey combs in the grill, and add a coat of CERAMICLEAR which is rock and chip resistant, might do the back of the side mirrors as well. So when its all said and done my baby will have some clear armour up front now and no more rock chips.
Can I send you my chrome corner strips and you could just sort of toss them in the box with the other stuff to be painted (just stick a label on them that says "blk")?
nice thinking dave!!! hahahaaha wade - great idea on the clear armor treatment!!!! after driving FOREVER through your part of the country last month, i can tell you i picked up a few chips in my car that was not covered by a bra or tape!!!!
I never knew they made a clear paint protector, I thought it was just the 3m stuff. Let us know how it turns out Wade........and take pictures.:gotpics:
The guy that is doing the work will take pics along the way and of course I will post my 2 cents worth when it is done.
I already picked it up he was basically done with your stuff but wanted to buff it out one more time, they looked great. What I would like to do is put your tinted tails on my Jeep and get mine done but leave the area where the reverse lights come on un-touched and take yours off and put mine on when he is done if your not in a hurry to get them back. He has all pieces of yours done, rear fogs and 3rd brake lights look great as well. Were thinking about tinting the yellow on the side of my front headlights and that W section under the front headlights and see how that comes out. The Jeep came out great but it was raining all day so I have not given it the "WADE" inspection, got the new tires on as well yesterday
yea man, do what you want with my tails. I'm not going to be home until the end of the month. Just take some pics when you install them. do you not like the way the reverse light area looks, or do you not want to hurt the brightness of the bulb? I've been talking to daniel about murdering my Jeep.
On your Jeep it will look SICK, I just have the LED reverse bulbs and want to keep em bright but trust me they look very, very good. I found a powder coater around here as well so if you consider powder coating your wheels he is cheap and did a set on a buddies H2 and came out great
