Last Thursday Scott re-tuned my car to prep for racing that weekend. And let me say, the results are crazy. All I have on my car is the GSM CAI and the Mopar/Corsa exhaust, and a bad a** tune. So Last Thursday night I went to Irwindale Speedway and did the 1/8 Mile, and then on Saturday I went to Sacramento Raceway and did the 1/4 mile...For the 1/8 mile, my best run was a 8.1 with a 60ft of 1.77. I thought that was pretty impressive. All my runs that night were 8.1's. Now for the 1/4 mile.... This is a picture of my cousin on my V-Rod and me waiting to race... And...Drum Roll Please.... So ya, I pulled a 12.83 with a 60ft of 1.81. I don't think I've seen that low of a time with the fews mods that I have on another Jeep. I know I work at GSM and my job is to promote GSM, BUT, even if I didn't work there, I would still say Scott knows his stuff. So, all in all, it was an awesome weekend. Just wanted to share!
Thanks guys. I know it's not record breaking or anything, but don't worry, the Mondello Heads and Nitrous are coming....
Nice times. You beat my times and I have headers & Hi flowing cats, maybe I have had too many beers cuz that track looks like its on a down hill slope. More beer anyone??
How do we know Scott doesn't save the really really good tunes for just the GSM people? (just kidding) those are very impressive times, congrats.
Great times Tamara! Way to go......that 1.77 60ft is awesome for the mods on your jeep. p.s. tell Scott I'm ready for my tune, the jeep fires up today and hits the track Saturday................as Sponge Bob would say "I'm Ready, I'm Ready, I'm ready".......see what happens when you have little ones...lol!
I see the track is downhill and must be nice to have such a great tune any idea where the rest of us can get one???
Way to go TAM as the conversion said your 8.17 at IRWINDALE would put you at 12.80 in the 1/4 so you were close with that 12.83. If you could of pulled off another 1.77 60' you mite of hit a 12.79. If you fig your hp at 458 and weight at 4966 your et fits in at 12.80 and 8.17. Go here for altitudes of all tracks in usa. Sacramento is at 50 above sea + da. level..http://www.schnitzracing.com/Tracks/california.htm http://www.tciauto.com/Products/TechInfo/Calculators.asp ¼ Mile ET & 1/8 Mile ET Conversions ¼ Mile ET.......1/8 Mile ET 12.80.............8.17 Enter the ¼ Mile ET or the 1/8 Mile ET and Click on Calculate...
Very very good times..... For a gurl... lol That is awesome Tamara, way to represent the Jeep, GSM, and racing.
