Yesturday I was on my way to get my Dog groomed. I had my buddy who weighs 200lbs and my dog weighs 121lbs. 05-06 Mustang GT Black with Silver Stripes came haul'n up on me. I was going 60mph and he pulled up next to me. Looked over and jumped on it. I jumped on it right after he did and caught up and passed. Got up to around 120mph and he was about two cars behind. He never did pull up next to me after that. After droping my Dog off on the way back home a Porsche 944 was cruz'n in the left lane and I was in the right. Older guy with his wife. I jumped on it to see if he was game. He down shifted and took off. I played chase then we hit traffic. After it cleared he Jumped on it again so I had to play chase again. Took a lil bit to catch him. By 100mph I did and passed. As passing we looked over and the guy was waving his hands. Like "WTF is that passing me". My Buddy and I were laughing. We went up to about 140mph and he tried to keep up. He was about a car or two behind. The porsche ower pulled next to us and waved pull over. We did and talked a lil bit. 1st thing out his mouth was WTF is that. I said "oh is just a Jeep". :wink: Poped the hood showed him the Jeep and what not. He told me about his 944 and was his Wifes car. lol I guess that makes it different. Said that there arent many cars that have ran him down and passed while on the Highway. We BS'd a lil bit then jumped in our cars and went our ways. Really cool guy. His wife was laughing about the Jeep. :lol: Also I ran into a Blue Peanut eye STi with what looked like only a C/B. There was traffic and then it clear he moved over to the right lane. I pulled up next to him. He waved and then exited. lol I was really surprise at how many nice cars were out yesturday. **THIS WAS PERFROMED ON A CLOSED TRACK**
Nice kills but ... 944s are no match for our cars. A regular 944 only has 163 horse and runs 0-60 in 7.4 secs. The later turbo models were faster but still not fast enough with the fastest model having 250 horse and running 0-60 in 5.4 secs. I know the Jeeps don't have the top end that regular LXs have (due to aero and weight) but still you should have wiped the floor with one. Are you sure it was a 944?? Still, nice kills!
This is what he said. I didnt see 944 on the car tho. We were to busy looking that the Jeep. He did have a big jump on my and I had to play chase.
That was it........ Like I said he had a big jump and passed him at 100 and at 140 he was way behind.
Nice kills. Typical response from a Mustang owner though..."I don't want to get my ass whooped again!".
