dahahahahahahahahaha......... i got the trophies off a guy who was selling them at the local flea market.....
Looks nice Chris... Do you have a spare manifold, is that wht you could do the coating so easy? How much was the powder coat charge and how long did he take?
i got a spare manifold from draggin wagon (john) when he did a polished set up. as for the charges...... still to be determined!!!! i will be talking to the powdercoater on monday to finalize the price. the tb got dinged up when he shipped it to me, and the original quoted price was waaaay off what i was last told. i will answer this question better on monday!!! lol
HOLY CRAP! You have a spare manifold! Turn it upside down on the work bench. Tape or cover the TB hole, the pcv inlet hole, etc. Fill it with water. Pour the water out of the manifold into a bucket. MEASURE the volume of water. pour it into 2 liter bottles if necessary. Then we'll finally know the inside volume of the manifold.
thanks curtis!!! i figured you had not seen pics of it from a comment you made in kens (talons) last thread! hehehehehehe he and i share a lot of similar ideas!!! great minds think alike right??? hehehehehe getting colby involved was lots of fun!!! my dad was a fighter pilot, gone almost all the time, and i rarely got to do things like this with him.. he is a great man, but it was the one thing i wanted to make sure i did with my kids was spend as much time as possible with them!!! colby usually ALWAYS goes with me to the shows and m&g's!!!! he is my wingman so to speak!!!
