Then they are a waist of money in my book. i mean if you take them off for snow that one thing but if you live in Cali? IMO
I would expect them to be as strong or stronger than the stock wheels? Maybe not good for the street because they *can* be damaged (and can't be repaired) and you're more likely to do that on the street than a track ... and they cost a fortune.
carbon/ceramic brakes would suck for street use. They have to heat up before they offer any kind of stopping power. It would suck to pull out of your drive way on a cold morning and have no brakes. Dymag wheels are dope thoe. i would love to own a set but not for this car, im happy with my iforged rollers.
Forgot about that part... You could install little propane torches on the calipers:thumb:. It would look cool at night too.
that and the puddles totally disguise them. i havent even thrown any on my ride for this specific reason. also, the roads totally suck where i routinely drive.
Jeeesss....All these posts and no links or pics... Her is the wheel at Dymag site: http://www.dymag-usa.com/archives/2007/07/sweet_photo_of.html Only one distributer: "Rennworx is Dymag's exclusive distributor in North America. Visit rennworx.com for details and contact information."
Here is a really cool looking wheel that has a Carbon Fiber rim over an alloy center hub. (actually on research the Dymag is not 100% Carbon Fiber, it has a Magnesium center hub). http://sportcar-info.blogspot.com/2008/02/carbon-fiber-rimed-alloy-wheels.html
Wow, only $29,000.00 for a set. I'll just run a little more boost to offset the unsprung weight difference.
