I saw a story on the news last night that Tiajuana has banned all dark window tinting. You are allowed light tint that still shows the person in the car, but dark is now illegal even on the back windows. Just want to let the locals know. you cant have ANY tint on the front windows in NY...and i think only 35% on the back...but the rear window is whatever oh how i wish i could tint the SRT... dumb tint laws lol
Wow... I'm glad that the Tijuana authorities are concentrating on MAJOR issues, and not the measly facts that drugs, kidnappings and murders in Tijuana are and have been out of control for the last 20 years... oh, and the crooked police, federalies (sp?) and politicians. Rest easy tonight, tourists... Mexico is looking out for YOU! The people of Mexico need to have a revolution and kick some criminal and corrupt official ass. Just my 2 cents... yes, now I'm broke.
Just keep your windows down..hehe....that is agreat picture! I got nailed by a state trooper years back in my 98 civic si, this is when I was "displacement envy".... He turned around on the highway, almost causing an accident to pull me over at 6:00 am for a $150 fine and tint removal......when he left I gave him some of this :thongue2: but he looked back quickly and I was like :whistle:......LOL....I was pissed!
Chris, down there, 'trouble' is translated into paying cash, on the spot, to the cop (aka: bribe). There's no set amount, but they'll likely want to know how much you got! Crooked SOBs.
