Great story, My neighbor got a call last night that his son is the starting pitcher in todays Boston / Angels game @ 1:30 @ Finway. The organization is flying both parents to the game. Kid throws in the mid 90's. Decided to go to Anderson IN. for College instead of much larger schools. Great family, great kid....now I gotta start rooting for the RedSoxs everytime he starts. Keep an eye out for Justin Masterson from Beavercreek Ohio.....what was my daughter thinking by not dating him?

haha i watched a movie last night about mickey mantle and roger maris and the race to beat babe ruth's homerun record. people threatening to kill roger maris and kidnap his kids just because he wasnt media friendly. granted, philly fans took out a ranger's eye w/an iceball outside of the rink, we still didnt threaten to kidnap the guys kid!
I have heard very good reports of this kid. Will be neat to watch. I route for any team playing against the Angels... lol Go MARINERS...
Ditto!!! I am a big Sox fan, he is doing well. 2nd inning and he has thrown 37 pitches, 21 for strikes! Go Sox!!!
Seven innings to go ....the strike out to end the second was huge. My first pitch in the bigs would have been into the stands, his was a strike. Kids these day's are sure calm.
