Who installed the Halos? Are the HID's and Halos ballast powered and if so do they have seperate ballasts?
ha stevo and i just hung up the phone, and we are both stumped. the second he plugged the hids in the halos no longer work which are a COMPLETLY seperate system than the hids.
i got projector head lamps with the LED's and Halo's in them already....heres a pic of them on (the old set) with everything workign on the passenger side)
no the LED's do not have a ballast...they run off the parking lights which i hard wired instead of using the connectors to ensure a good connection
no i did that AFTER our little talk before... this was done after the lwo beams were working and i was just tyring to get the LED's to work...im gonna try again tomorrow with another suggestion from marcel... we will see
I'm just wondering if the more you try the longer it's going to take Tony to get it to work... just wondering...
hahahahaha its possible but i think by "trying" i really mean im going to take em out and put the stockers back in
Time to try swapping each component of the units between the left side and right side. Do you have a voltmeter? Trace 12V to make sure it is where it is suppossed to be by compoaring borth sides. Oh yea and don't forget the ground to mke sure it is good by also verifying the 12v to the actual ground connection. My firdt choice of the problem is the ground or you may have pulled the 12vdc supply form a connection farther upstream. Oh yea....check every plug connection to make the pins in any of the plugs have not been "pushed back" in to the plug, this is a common problem with a lot of plug designs.
