I've got 14K miles on my '06 MSRT8. Bone stock. Dealer says the radiator is broken. Not one of the hoses. Same dealer did replace the coolant and tank about six months ago to resolve the cottage cheese thing. Fortunately, this is covered under warranty. I've owned over 16 cars in my lifetime and have never run into a broken radiator. Has this ever happened to you?:huh:
when i moved to florida, i had the radiator in my bimmer and my jeep gc crack at the plastic side areas...... never seen it before, but it happened to me on two different cars!!!
I had one split at the top seam where the plastic top was bonded to the metal core. It just blew one day. Replaced it with a double core all metal aftermarket.
Yea Erik, where's it "broken"?? Never heard anyone have this prob on their srt. Is it leaking and that's how you found it? Where, just so I can check mine? Hey bro, we should meet up one of these days soon too!
Just got back from the dealer. With the parts en route and the radiator still in the car, we can clearly see evidence of a small amount of coolant spray from what appears to be the top seam where plastic and metal meet. :huh:
Hi Scott! Check at the top passenger side forward of the top hose. There is a rubber flap running along the radiator top. Do you see any coolant spray? No? Good for now. Also, yeah we'll meet soon say next month. Thanks!

Geez, now my dealer says the radiator is on backorder. Now bumping up to priority but still estimating arrival on Tuesday at the earliest.
