Got 3 runs in last night starting around 10pm and come to find out later there was some wierd things going on with this backyard track that is on an old truck driving school runway:novote: I ran a buddy of mine in his Cobra that has never ran slower than a 12.9 so we thought we would give the crowd a good show for a few runs.

1st pass I beat him to the end but he ran a faster time. I ran a 13.366 @ 100.74MPH, .347 reaction, 1.91 60', 8.5 i2n the 1/8 @ 80.63mph odd thing is my 1/8 was horribly slow, stock I was running 8.2 and last night 8.52 on this pass, he ran a 13.13 @ 107.13 MPH I loved the sound of that whipple pulling me in at the end sounded badass bit he had to catch up each run-HAHA:harhar: DA was + 1347, 70degrees, 43% humidity, winds 13mph SSE, Pressure at 29.92

Here is the bright spot the Jeep has been running great since I have gotten rid of KR and my A/F is at 12.3-12.5 and was dead on accurate all night I should have bracket raced I would have won I am proud of the Jeep for being so damn consistant last night even though (after finding out later) the traps were WAY off on the times, my 1st and 3rd runs are almost identical on the 2nd run I pulled the ABS fuse and spun bad at the line

    1st Pass
    .347 reaction
    1.91 60'
    8.52 1/8 @ 80.63 mph
    13.36 @ 100.74 mph

    2nd Pass
    .364 reaction
    1.93 60'
    8.55 1/8 @ 80.59mph
    13.416 @ 100.46mph (hotlapped) not bad

    3rd Pass
    .370 reaction
    1.917 60'
    8.52 1/8 @ 80.49 MPH
    13.37 @ 11.85 MPH

This is a piss poor track you have to drive thru a hole in a GRAVEL road that is full of water to get into the area, then you drive on gravel up to the staging lanes next week I am off to Ennis for a Real Track. This also has me thinking about my post from last weekends time when I had tons of KR so scratch those times as unreliable I wll never go out to this track again (Prairie Hill Dragway)

Wade when u pull the fuse what air pressure you run in the tires? This is what works 4 me as i allways pull the fuse. (HOT) 40lbs in front 35 in rear and i almost allways get 1.79 - 1.81 60' and my times will be in the 8.20s and if there 1.84 - 1.88 ill be in the low 8.30s.. I no all strips vary.

Yeah Wade, I wouldn't sweat any of that...those are good times considering you have to drive across gravel lol..it's one of the reasons I drive further to get to a better and quieter track..

Very solid consistency Wade. You should enter that Jeep in the bracket races. Very repeatable reaction times and ETs.

I'm waiting until May 10th for the Mopar Nats at Ennis that is one of the best tracks in Texas but I'm sure weather will be warmer by then but at least I will know how the Jeep is running, thanks guys.

hate to say it but i doubt you'll win any bracket races with those reaction times. try workin on the lights a little :)

i lost bracketing racing this weekend because of a terrible light .212 i had been averaging .0s for the night.

    Good Luck!!

UHHH I'm confused If my brain is set at .34??? reaction and my dial in time was 13.3 I would have won or theoretically won as I was consistant on my reaction and end time thats what counts, now it looks like you had a .2 brain fart not my fault-LOL. Considering the jackass running the tree was NEVER consistant on how he let the tree drop I think I did okay, one run you could light up the 2nd yellows and there would be a short delay, the next run 2nd yellow lights and then BOOM the tree drops.

Well will be going to Irwindale in a few week and i hope i can still beat him as hes a great racer and bud. Theres 6 of us that run out of GSM and we all run close to each other. Tamara is the 1 im worried about as she is 120 lbs lighter than me and Lou and her 08 put out 366 hp to Lous 360 and my 357. Tamara hasnt run the 1/8 with the new tune yet.
