STS Turbo Kits (Single and Twin) Coming Soon ... Click for Insider Info & Spy Shots!

STS has not publicly released information on the upcoming release of the HEMI single turbo and twin turbo kits ... BUT, I have an inside line to the information that only the company and demo car owners will have, and am going to share that with you all.

The single turbo kit has been installed and dyno tested on the STS test car, and is currently being converted to the twin turbo kit. STS will then be installing and testing both systems on a second vehicle to verify fitment and dyno results.

Here's the skinny on the single turbo kit. It was tested on a 2008 Charger 5.7L and resulted in a 55-60% increase in rwhp. The boost curve was fast and showed no loss of factory low end power. The single turbo kit has enough power to exceed the limitations of the stock bottom end, which means that you can run a safely tuned system on your stock motor, or turn up the boost for insane power on your built motor.

The kits are expected to be ready for sale soon (as soon as 1-2 months possible), but STS has not released official date or pricing yet. We'll post the prices just as soon as the information is available, and we'll be taking pre-orders for anyone interested in getting one of the first kits at a discounted price.

I've always been a fan of superchargers (specifically Vortech), but turbos are quite amazing since they don't run off the crank pulley and belt system, which means more power! STS turbo kits are unique in that they are rear-mount kits, so no messing with fitting turbos in the engine bay. I think last year someone took one of the universal kits from STS and fabbed a custom setup on an LX. This was before tunign etc. The nice thing is the new setup will be bolt on and come with tuning! Woot!

I'm sorry to say, but the STS kit on a Viper Truck will blow the engine. Almost everyone that has tryed it has lost an engine. I hope it doesn't happen to the Hemi as well. A member over at VTCOA that had the longest running system just lost his engine on a dyno.
