Now is the time to upgrade your cylinder head. You want to see what your car really can do install one of our DCR Pro Series Cylinder Heads on it and hold on. It will wake the beast up.

Here is a before and after a DCR Pro Series Head

    Hey,

Ran the car again on the dyno just to get a current baseline before putting the ported head on. This was with 94 octane and 3 cans of octane boost... don't ask me why it's holding again, but it is.

    393 hp and 417 lb/ft

Probably could of cracked 400 hp if I had wanted to give it a bit more boost, but really just wanted a baseline before modding the car any further. This was exactly how I had the car set up when it went 11.43, so I didn't really want to mess with it.

Will have another dyno in a couple of weeks after the head is installed. Going to install it without cams initially and see what kind of gains are to be had with a good flowing head. Here's hoping for 420 or so.

    Here is the After

Okay, here are the results, took awhile, but worth it!

    Peak gains.............. 21.11 hp and 23.54 ft/lbs.

    Gains @ 4500 rpm.... 46.66 hp and 54.5 ft/lbs.

    Gains @ 6000 rpm.... 29.57 hp and 25.82 ft/lbs.

Everything else the same.. just bolted on the DCR ported head. Car is obviously running out of cam in the upper end.

Final #'s were 414 hp and 447 ft/lbs. This should put me a little bit closer to the magical 10's.

Now to find the perfect set of cams.
