Hey Ron, I am ready to contact them after you give them a call as a reference Maybe we can use your ride as a trainer!! mike dms
Outstanding Mike. I am ALL for the trainer idea. GTFO Rick. We know what (who) you have been pumping, and it aint Pedders. lmao Yea, I was thinking the same thing Dave.
All colors of bushes are outstanding as long as they are Pedders Red. Blue bushes are something to look at after a hang-over when you wake up and wonder wear your underwear is, and whose g string panties you are wearing as a head band! LOL:thumb2: mike dms
bwahahahahaahaha Wait.... lol My flames are blue... hehe But then again, I know who's G string is drapped over my head. hehe My wifee MRSSRT10.
Hey, I did not talk about flames or car color. I am only talking about colors of the bushes!! mike dms

If anything, just come down for some free food!! mike dms
And we look forward in ahving such a Top Notch company as Pedders USA being apart of our team... Thanks for sharing your knowledge and for becoming part of our family.
We have a Shop Certification scheduled for Tuesday the 22nd in the LA area. We train our Dealers on the Best Practices for installation of Pedders bits. The LX platform is a complex installation. The first installation we did took over 30 hours. As we have refined the process it has almost been cut in half. The results of our in shop education are reflected in the efficiency with which the work is done and the predictability of the result. We want each installation and guest experience to be perfect. They are almost never perfect, but if you strive for perfect then the result of failure is still a damn good one. The purpose of this post is two fold. One, you are all invited to come to the House of Power and see an LX torn down and assembled Pedders style. We had two vehicles scheduled. One just cancelled. Since Mike White my West Coast Business Development Manager is already booked his flights and hotel we want to back fill the second spot. If you would like a super deal on a Pedders Track II Bush Kit installed by House of Power and Mike White get on the phone right now and call Mike. To the Mods -- we have the sponsorship in progress. Please excuse the premature sales post. With the 22nd around the corner I have bent the rules and beg forgiveness.
Rick, because of YOU, I'm considering their products, if/when I can afford to mod! OMG... wipe the poop off your lips, Ron! LMAO! I knew it! Ron's ONLY nice when he wants something... anyone else who'd have pulled a stunt like that would've been banned! Including me! LMAO!
Here's the Encyclopedia Britannica version of the review. Doesn't look like the s/w is letting me import the pics so I'll have to figure out what the deal is there. ----- ----- OK I've had the Pedders on the car for a couple weeks now. I've run them in the city, on the highway and on the racetrack. I'll cut to the chase and fill in the details later: Its a great mod. Its an expensive mod. It lets you do things otherwise not possible without them. It has consequences which you may find no big deal, or may be deal breakers. I have a complete set of the bushes on my car to complement KW V2's and Hotchkis sways. Basically I told them to put every bush they had on and so they did. So take note of the fact that I am not using the fully tuned Pedder's suspension. My results may vary from a full installation that includes Pedders sways and coilovers. Cornering is decidedly better. One thing I noticed immediately is the weight transfer lag when initiating a corner seemed not to be there anymore. For example, lets say you are driving 30 mph and you heel the wheel hard over left and hard over right, executing an S turn. Formerly, when you turned the steering wheel fast you had a split second where the wheels were turned, but the body took an extra moment to decide to change directions and follow the chassis. My finely calibrated SOTP meter tells me this lag -- which we all learn to compensate for by leading turns by a bit -- is quite simply gone. I can't really define or quantify the performance experience much more than that. Its just... better. Everywhere. You are free to explore where the new edge of the envelope is. And make no mistake, that edge gets further out with this suspension on the car. You have yourself a sports car suspension. Which brings me to -- for some of you -- what will be the bad part. These bushes will stiffen up your ride well over what it is now if you already have coilovers on. Its not the sort of thing you will notice driving down a smooth road. You'll still be cruising smooth. But doing a highway that has been patched, or that has concrete pads that have gaps in them so you go bumpbumpbump...well, you will know you have poly bushings in the car for sure. Its not uncomfortable, but instead of a little fwipfwipfwip its a whackwhackwhack, and you'll feel it more. For those of you who still want to be driving a client lunch cruiser you won't be anymore... Unless your business associates all want to ride in the bitchen hearse from hell (mine always ask me to take the Magnum and they are down for the adventure). Remember my bushes are on top of other vendors coilovers and sways, so for all I know the full Pedders system is more forgiving. I am absolutely happy with the ride, personally, but before you spring for a system, get a test ride and make sure it is over more than smooth pavement so you will have the experience fully understood. Poly bushings are supposed to be bad on noise transmission. Lots of noise gets into the cabin that is otherwise not transmitted thru rubber. I was warned about that by others and was pleased to find it is not a problem. In terms of the kind of wear I had on my bushings, I'm not clear on that. My car is driven hard over unevenly patched county roads in the mountains. 66k miles were on the chassis at time of install. Plus road course race track driving. Pretty much the worst case for the suspension. Hardly any of the bushings were torn. A few were but it looked entirely possible that the damage to them might have come from prying/beating them out of the car in the first place, as those same bushings were torn up pretty bad by hammers and pliers from their removal. I'm sure getting them out was not a fun job. Since I can't say for sure what was and wasn't torn when it was in the car, I'd say the best thing to do is get them inspected before you spend to replace what you think might be bad. Pedders does a 28-point free inspection, and that would be a good time to also do one of their test drives. Here's a side benefit: The full install is basically a total teardown and reassembly of the suspension. This had the nice side effect of eliminating all suspension noises I had accrued over the years from whaling the crap out of the car since they were torqueing everything down just right and all. No doubt some of the improvement was likely getting rid of bad bushings. The installation process -- for something so extensive -- had a couple bumps. Pedders and their installer were very professional and I couldn't have asked for a more concerned response to the minor issues that cropped up. First, the tech was unfamiliar with the 245/255 front/rear tire width stagger that is typical on many SRT's (and still an available factory option according to the Dodge web site). So the tires got put on wrong on one side. Fortunately this had no ill effects on the alignment and you can bet that they know all about staggered tires now. Next, my car was so low that the tech, when pulling the car off the alignment rack, caught the rear engine shroud on the crossbar and tore it up pretty good. As I said, Pedders could not have been more concerned (I was pretty steamed when I saw the tires) and they offered to reimburse me for a 4-wheel alignment and pay for the shroud. In this case, given the specifics of the situation a new alignment is not necessary. Also the shrouds are only $18 plus shipping ... and mine was already chewed up anyway. I ordered two. No big deal. On the flip side, the Pedders dealer (Fairfield Chevrolet) was a pleasure to deal with and very helpful. I had a rush job since I was only a week away from a track day, and they got on the job, returned my calls promptly, took care of all details and generally did everything they said they would. Many of us used to our own dealers' service level would find that something of a new experience. I was even given a rental while my car was in the shop, and that was huge. The real deal is my suspension was taken completely apart and put back together again. It was put together right and I promptly raced on the track all day. This suspension upgrade is a must if you are serious about performance. Its a great mod. I'll be on Thunder Hill Raceway in both May and June with it.
the name of your city is realllllllly tough to try and spell. Is that why you abreviate it. LOL mike dms
lmao yes siiiiiiiir. We have lived here 11 years now and I still have difficulty spelling Albuquerque. haha San Jose is my home city, and I will take that ANY day of the week.
