Tell you the truth most of the times, when I post something I am not always that excited with the outcome. I will say that I did it this time, just like I wanted and expected.

First I will say these lights are not all that great, they are from Ebay called Sonar, and they are OK at best. They are certainly not the quality of the factory parts. I dont like how on the side view, you see a lot of the light and it just doesn't look right to me.

SO, I decided to paint the outer edge and the side as well to match the car. I got the paint from the dealer, I taped off where I wanted the lines, sanded, scotch bright, then adhesion promoter, then paint 4 coats then cleared.

Man, this turned out better than I expected.

Check back tomorrow for pics outside on the car in the morning!

I've been thinking about switching tail lights, but I'm afraid of some of the junk that is out there. Can you imagine doing all this work, you put the lights on and week later they start fogging on the inside... or even worst LED's start going out! Let me know they turn out.

They are tinted! from the factory, I didnt want them any darker.

Couple minutes pics will be up!

These have been on my car for over months, and no fogging and nothing wrong with them at all. Unfortunately they just feel cheap. Like the plastic parts. No complaints so far with how they function.

    Speaking of the holes...

How is it to fill them easiest? Bondo? Fiber? Can I do it? Without welding?
