Okay pick away except for the music that is my east waco rolling thug music gotta blend in the hood you know. Anything to watch for??? I'm not liking the 3 to 4 shift it leans out alot for a tenth of a second(at the 12 second mark in the vid) to 16.0 and you can see the Jeep hesitate to recover but I compared this to my 12.8 run when it was 45 degrees and -1100 DA and they are dead on even. This was shot last night
I see no problems whatsoever. If the 12.4 run and 12.8 run are the same, stick with the 12.4 run. Among other things, it lets you run cooler. That helps prevent the fuel dump that sometimes happens resulting in AFR dropping like a rock to about 10.0:1 at the end of a run, hurting power. The blip appears to be TM during the shift. Nothing there would concern me at all. Looks nice and smooth.
THANKS and this was with only 2 degress KR max at some RPM's and to me that is good enough and your right with 90+ degree weather around the corner I would rather be a little on the rich side right now I kept notes of how much timing I had to pull in each RPM table if anyone wants to know
That A/F ratio actually looks quite good. You always want to be a little fatter at peak torque and below. It keeps you from rattling and it will help stay out of knock as you venture into the upper rpm. As mentioned, knock retard is the devil as it not only pulls timing, but will dump an unnecessary amount of fuel in an attempt to ease the problem.
What kind of gauge do you have Wade? It looks really good where you have it positioned. I can't comment on the A/F becasue I'm umedjimikated on dat!
