hi, i like these cars even tho i don't have one. my son is dysphagia, he is slowly educating me on turbo cars and modern computer control. i was in the first wave of modding computer controlled cars. in 87 i ordered a Pontiac Firebird Formula with a TPI 5 speed combo, intentionally having it built as light as possible. over the next 7 years we built it into a pretty hot drag car while keeping ( modding) the stock injection and computer setup. very few people were doing it at the time except for some mustang guys and of course the GN buicks. it was fun to have a car that ran low 12s in PHX and still got over 24 mpg and drove to the track very well on its own. anyway, i will get up to speed on the current tech by hanging here, thanks for all the input everyone! -joe g

yeah, he turned out pretty good so far eh? thanks! i think he got fast cars in his blood in that Fbird, when he was 4 he and his brother would give me the 'go' cue while we were rolling in 2nd gear at about 2600 rpm, the 2nd gear pull in that car was a blast, even for a little kid....
