Can you find out about a couple of things?

    1) DCx specific Pids
    2) They say they can integrate third party sensors. On the inputs they list a serial input. In the literature it mentions 0v-5v sensors (I'm particularly interested in integrating an non-AEM wideband). So is it only a serial input which implies they understand AEM messages or is there also a generic analog 0v-5v input (I'm guessing there is)?
    3) Offboard data logging? Can you log and then download it to your PC and view it there with a PC component?

    thanks,

    1) DCx specific Pids

DCX is just about to enter BETA. Thru Drew Tech’s OEM relationships, all of the Chrysler DATA is available. The DashDAQ will support all of the common parameters like Boost, Fuel Pressure, EGT, MDS status, and more. If a customer wants a parameter we don’t support, we can probably add it for a follow-up release.

The DashDAQ has two serial inputs, two analog inputs, and two USB Host ports for external sensors. We have found that many widebands have both analog and serial outputs, and in some cases the serial outputs have been more precise. For example, DashDAQ can connect to Innovate and Zeitronix thru either serial or analog. You can use any 0-5V analog sensor, including all of the widebands available in the aftermarket. If we don’t have that wideband in our selection box, all you have to do is type the formula to convert from voltage to AFR (supplied with the wideband) on DashDAQ’s configuration screen.

    3) Offboard data logging? Can you log and then download it to your PC and view it there with a PC component?

The DashDAQ can save to your memory card in CSV format. This allows you to open the log files in Excel, or many other 3rd party log viewers. The next release of DashDAQ will also let you analyze and playback your logs in-vehicle.
