magnaflow muffler question

Has anyone used the magnaflow muffler on their car. I am talking about the inline one and not the fart can. my town is planning on approving a noise ordnance and this will include Harley's too. fine up to $275. so my question is how loud was it after it was on. I really need to quiet it down and cant afford to go with the thermal exhaust right now. I have a 3" exhaust with a cat and that is it. I know this should help but just asking before I buy. also do you have the 4" or 6" round. thanks Paulie

 

I had mine stright pipe,
and the mag quieted it down buy about half.

 

did you use the 4" or 6" round?

 

you can also try a resinator.

 

i run two magna flow muffs w/ 3" openings on my srt8...... i would say they are a bit on the loud side under wot, but under normal driving, just a deep rumble..... not sure on a skittle what they would be like, but i can't imagine any louder.....

 

nope just the reg syle muffler 3in with a 4in tip
costed me $160 installed

 

well after being pulled over again tonite for my exhaust, I just ordered a 5" round 20" long magniflow from summit.
