So what's the match-up rules gonna be? So will this match-up be an all or nothing 1-1 run? best out of 3? best out of 5? :sly:
If you loose by over a half-second, do we really need to add insult to injury by doing 3 times in a row? lol. It doesnt matter to me. We can do a best of 3 hot-lap race if you want. You see what is funny is that these west-coast supercharger and n2o guys complain about DA and temps and all that crap.........Superchargers have intercoolers that create their own atmosphere, same goes for n2o. An n2o car runs better in the heat just do to the better traction. Soon it will not matter, we will be on the same TRACK and there will not be any excuses. I wonder if I can talk them into putting a camera on there fender, I have always wanted to see our car in action from behind.
Hmmm...... Sadly - been there, done that. I didn't enjoy it nearly as much as I'm guessing Jeremy enjoyed knowing I was getting that vantage point. But now...... :aggressive:
Blah blah blah..... Jeremy's told me he'd run nitrous "next time" for about the last 6 times we've gotten together. (yes - I'm trying to goad him into actually getting it done finally. Tell him I'm talking smack about his slow NA car)
Yeah, that's why you went to NJ to try to get a 10 because of the negative DA. LOL And that's why you guys will not be able to come close to your current ET's in the summer, even at ATCO, and then will want to use DA correction. So if I ran at Atco fully prepped at a -2000 DA, I would run the same ET at Firdbird at a DA of 3500-4000 on a summer evening becasue I have better traction? So a run at 40 degrees will produce a slower ET than 110 degrees because of better traction. You know whoever came up with your quoted theory is actually full of shit. It's relative to the starting temp and DA, not a constant all the time, everywhere. I to wish we had had a fully prepped track at SpeedFest My car had top MPH, losing way more traction than anyone else due to more HP and TQ than anyone else there. I quess we'll never know how quick my car really was with the 150 shot on a good DA day. Now the new 426 motor with I-Charger and N2O, I'll have to mount a camera on the back of my car with a really good telephoto lens. LOL
We went to Englishtown to prove our car runs what we say it runs. I said n2o cars and FI cars are not affected as much by heat as NA cars. Our car will absolutely run slower this summer, but we do not run n2o or FI. I dont see how your car had more of a traction problem than ours, you were not spraying out of the hole were you? Most guys spray after about 30-50ft. Lots of people are claiming they will run great times this year, I hope so, lets do this. As for my theory on n2o and FI not being affected by DA and that theory being full of shit, maybe you should contact the NHRA so they can explain to you that n2o and FI cars are allot less affected by DA than NA cars.
I hope so, Im ready for this market to explode. With a 426, I-charger, and n2o you better be ahead of us.
I just hope some of you guys also need tranny work soon. I'm already tired of exploring the world for options by myself.
