Ive been looking at the Indy valve covers. Im mostly stock and only look to get them to spice up the engine bay. I like how they imitate the original HEMIs look of yesteryear... Anyone have pics of them? Can they be installed in a mostly stock 6.1? How hard is the installation?
Yea, I would like to see what you are talking about as well. haha I would think that it doesn't matter if a car is bone stock or heavily modded, the valve covers should fit all. Shouldn't be a pain in the ass at all to install.
Anymore info on this? There is an ad pic at Mopar Muscle where they show a new HEMI showing a polished intake AND cast valve covers hiding the coils and showing the plug cables through the cover, as old HEMIs. I cant find that pic intheir website though.
not sure of the ones your referring to but I just got the first set of valve covers from Morroso, I'm on my iPhone so no pics but Cam posted a pic on the last page of "Trojan Sema Challenger" thread, the guys came by the booth weds and told me oil pans are in the works as well, Bruce from HHP is the one that made this happen. HHP will selling them. Until the vulture go thru the back door:dumb
Moroso is one of the options coming, and they look sweet! They are sheetmetal aluminum fabricated valve covers, you may have seen similar ones that they have made for Mustangs and other applications. We have been Moroso distributor's for a loooong time and have been in contact with them about these and some other goodies they will making for our rides for the last year. Lots of cool stuff is coming!
Those sure look cool but still they show the coil packs. What would cost be aproximatley, if it is known of course.
^^ Yes! We've been working with Moroso from the Mustang days and have suggested a number of items to them and have a LONG list of things to bring everyone very soon! Coolant reservoir, power steering reservoir, race oil pan, valve covers ... to name a few. Stay tuned to our forum and www.bmcspeedshop.com for the latest!!
