Uhm, I thought by my 117mph trap speed in my sig nobody would think I was running a stock turbo... and the thread I posted a few months back about the S3 setup where I was having boost control issues (which you contributed to, thanks psi chick). I'm running a Stage 3 kit with porting/coating etc. etc. etc., e-cutout, aeromotive fpr and a return line setup. So I took a quick peek under the hood today, but I didn't see any disconnected lines anywhere, particularly the brake booster line. Is there a vacuum pump in the SRT-4 setup that might have gone out? And yah, Adam, it's a rough life, at least every time I pull into a gas station it is... =]
Lulz.....yeah...S3....my bad. No, there is no vacuum pump. What you need to do is a boost leak test. That will show you where your leak is. Just because all your lines look good, doesn't mean they are.
Yah I guess so, it's just annoying because this didn't happen before and I had ALL the vacuum lines replaced by a shop, but live and learn I guess.
So after two weeks of letting it sit, I finally got over being mad at it for messing up a track day for me. It was the brake booster line, up behind the intake near the turbo. gonna zip tie that sucker tomorrow. Thanks for the help guys.
