My wife has been at Lackland AFB for 5 weeks now. She has 2 more weeks to go. (hince my rush to have my engine complete, to drive to her graduation). She has been doing extremely well. she just finished up her "warrior" week, and is on her way to graduationg with honors. She has stated the funnest things about BMT (Basic Military Training) is the drill, she loves the M16, she can tear it apart and put it back together in under 2 minutes. She is going to make a fine Airman 1st class. Today she called to let me know that she would be pulling some money from the checking account because on Sunday her flight gets to have a little party, because they did well. She also mentioned that on her trip to the gas chamber, her mask leaked the entire time. so she got gassed for about 15 mins!!! All in all she is keeping high hopes, and making Jade and myself Very, Very proud. It really is tuff with her away though. One being i miss my wife. we have been together nearly everyday for the past 8 1/2 years. And now that jade has started school, i have to get her ready.. i am doing an ok job. but let me tell ya. a girls hair is no laughing matter!!!!! that shit is hard to style!!!! no after graduation she has tech school, then i will be moving with her, where ever she gets stationed
If her tech school is long enough...you would be able to join her there. My wife moved to Mississippi about a month into Tech school. I was able to move off base and stay with her in the apartment for the rest of the time I was in Tech school. As long as I still made it to PT and regular training on time it was all good. If I screwed up they would have pulled me back on base to stay in the dorms though.
thats how it works!!! The AirForce is a good way to see the world, or the rest of the U.S. Would be cool if you guys got Germany!!! its so pretty out there!!
