Well I've had it with these tires they will not balance out right no matter what we do so they are coming off for a full refund looking at Michelins which will cost me double just not sure which ones Latitude or Diamairs or PS2's

I had that same issue with Proxe ST's, but now have Proxe 4's which have been great. Although I realize Proxe 4's may not be a choice for you Jeep guys.

    Oh good, I just ordered (4) 275 45 20's in the proxes4's
I hope they're not too big for the front (I love a good rubbin' but not that kind).

Go with the new Bridgestones Bro! They seem like the best tire BY FAR for these rigs right now!

I hear good things about the Micheline Latitude HP's but I know Razo likes his Duelers, decisions, decisions

Its a toughy! They are both probably awesome, just runflat vs. not and the 2 different tread patterns....

I'm waiting for some track results with the michelin latitudes. Has anybody had these at the track yet? Or even heard about anyones track results?

That sucks Wade, sorry to hear that. Did the tire balancers say the tires themselves are bad?

The toyos are a real hard tire to get perfect....dont know if it is because they attempted to make them such a performance tire or what...

HHhhhmmmm......I must of got lucky on my set. I'll have to keep this in mind when purchasing tires again. I know my mechanic had to switch the fronts because the one tire on the balancer was a hair out of range for the road force machine, but both balanced out correct after the switch.

Well I'm glad to see Wade will be refunded his money.

how about the nitto NT420s? they have a great wear ratio, quiet and handle nice. another winner is the michelin diamaris tires. they are excellent i had them on my cayenne S.

wow, that sux wade..... and i usually hear pretty decent things about the toyos..... although, i recently say a gcsrt with V's and they looked badazz on it!! the guy was running 274/40's in the front and 315/35 in the rear!! if i had a jeep, it would be running the V's in that size!!!

the 420's are a very quiet tire and handle well for a suv tire. i run them on my charger, and had them on my last bimmer suv. good tire, good price.

That is the setup I would love to run on my Charger....providing I widened the back rims. I would love to see a GC with V's!! :deshade:

rick - it looked badazz!!!! i would have chatted with the owner, but i chose not to. no doubt, on the jeep, the V's in that set up are THE ticket!!!

Last year I tried the Michelin Diamaris 275/315, they did everythig well even in the rain and snow, except I could not hook hard at the track with those, so I managed to get a refund and stayed with the GY for the season. This year I just got the Michelin Latitude and first impression was that the 315 look really wide, I really like that. Wet or dry handling seems real good, plus they ride smooth. I have not yet hit the track with those but 0-60 testing show they hook real good. The best I've tried so far.
