So I drove her to work for my commute today for the first time.... Talking about touchy. Dang... It's not a bad thing at all, just not great for commuting.

Seems if i start pushing throttle in it goes great then there is a point early where its just like all on.

Not sure if that makes sense or if i am just typing to watch myself type.

Anyway, Is everyone elses like this?

try moving the pedals a little closer to you.........it will help with the touchiness.

That and not sure how you drive, but do not use your whole foot on the pedal unless you're at the drag strip!

I tend to go light on the throttle in stop and go traffic.

I wonder if the pedal calibration thing would help, although from my understanding that seems to be for the OPPOSITE problem of what you have. Hmmm ...

I think that's a myth. You're refering to the key on/off dance with the motor off and pushing the pedal to the floor, etc. right?

A tune can improve the throttle response/tip in which can help. There's that drive-by-wire throttle lag. It's just enough that you really don't notice it but throws off your timing and "feel".

Then there's that down shift full on thing. You want to sort of accelerate at half-blast but nothing seems to really happen until you get to a point where it downshifts and all of a sudden you're sort of at full blast. After about a year I finally got to a point where I can feather it for the half-blast without thinking about it. Give it some time. (Took me about a year to get my seat adjusted just right too :D)
