So I am looking for a new 18inch drag radial. I was going to go down to a 17 and run et streets, But I am spending the money on other parts, So I need the best Drag radial I can run on 18's. I also need some advice on brake pads. I dont mind the dust but I dont want to pay the dealer some godly amount of money for pads. I am using posi quites now and like them but want to try somthing new Thanks guys
If you don't mind the dust or shorter than average pad life, I would highly suggest the EBC Yellow brake pads. They stop a bit better than stock, have the same dust as stock, but are easier on the rotors which means a shorter pad life. They run $200-240 for all 4 corners.
yeah what he said! I love my yellows. They stop better then the stocks. Noticeably better! Dust is a little less then stock to. I would say on an avg 2 weeks its about = to a week of the stocks give or take. I paid 204 shipped to my door.
EBC Yellows if you dont mind dust and want great stopping power..if you want a very low dust pad that is still track capable then try the Redstuff's that is what I am running. Yellows: http://www.bmcspeedshop.com/product_p/dp41788r.htm http://www.bmcspeedshop.com/product_p/dp41764r.htm Reds: http://www.bmcspeedshop.com/product_p/ebc-dp31764c.htm http://www.bmcspeedshop.com/product_p/ebc-dp31140c.htm For an 18" D/R I would look at the Nitto 555 D/R
I have 33,000 miles on the car and probably 12k since the Redstuff pads were put on, and drive it daily in stop and go trtaffic and also have two road course days on them and so far so good. Compared to Green or Yellow they probably are harder on teh rotors since they are a harder ceramic pad though.
lol what naub you dont love cock any more! HAHAHAHA he freaked out. yea ron give me a call man I am thinking sac this weekend
