Techco Tuning @ Ditos Motors

    Well I finally did it, I got beast on a dyno and had the Techco blower dialed in. It's almost 100% from what I can feel(shifts funny) but I only drove 3 miles so far. They locked their tune(Techco) so tight that even a pencil pecker could not get in(lol).. Robert @ Ditos Motors basically had to rewrite the whole tune, but he was up to the task. He found a whole bunch of things in the original tune that should have never been touched, and several things he had no idea why they were not adjusted. I was at the shop from 9AM till 7PM for a Tune and oil change, oh and replace a blown fuel pressure guage. Soo I guess the HP numbers are in order huh?? When I had the car last Dyno'd and the tune refined @ Techco in June of last year I left their facility with 475HP and 451TQ which I though was a smoking good number, but it is actually on the low side for a blower car, but shoot I was happy, I had bad enough traction problems already. So today after a long day of tweaking and loud Dyno Testing I leave with 495HP and 470TQ. WOO HOO... 20HP and 19TQ.. I need to return sometime in the future to replace the plugs that are in the car due to them being gapped way too far, and I have a slight stumble at 5500 rpm because of it.

    Congrats Mark.

    I will be doing the same in the near future. After screwing with my emissions, we found that the Shitco tune is just that, CRAP. haha

    Glad the "Beast" is waking up finally.

    congrats!!!! glad to hear you got the car dialed in!!! never understand why tuners lock tunes..... especially bad ones????? lol

    That is great news Mark, I know it's a little late now, but I did find someone that can unlock Techco Tunes! I have no excuse my Techco tune is unlocked, and Bob at SVS is just waiting for me to bring it in.

    I talked to Robert from Ditos motors on the phone a couple times, seems like a very nice guy.

    Congrats on the new numbers.
