So...I thought it was a great game, especially the touchdown in the final seconds. That's the way a Championship game should end.

Did anyone else think the Cardinals were getting overly penalized?? I mean, come on....un-necessary roughness for tripping and landing on the holder??

    Anyways...only two more weeks till a real sport starts it's 2009 seaon:thumb:

it was a nothing game between two second rate teams. injuries plagued the league this season.

that being said, it was a good game but too many penalties were called on each side. screwed up gameplay.

Second rate teams? Steelers are the BEST team in the AFC hands down. Arizona had a good run but thats it, they seen hands down a BETTER team beat them, this wasnt the Eagles baby!!!

Please dont tell me about Cali teams, ill laugh so hard I may drop dead.

    STOP

Spoken like a true west coaster!

    I love it.

    yep hahahaha

All teams involved were lucky plaxico is a fucking cockernocker and shot himself in the leg cause the giants beat the Cardinals in AZ, the Eagles in PA ....and the STEELERS in PA....They just shit the bed after that which is their own damn fault....

Ben was a pile of shit again (i still think hes over rated and just lucky hes on a good team) and was lucky hat Santionio Holms Bailed him out with some great catchs and the cardinals defense had so many holes in it I could have scored against them.

and HOLY CRAP isnt it amazing what happens when they started throwing down feild IN THE 4th QUARTER! lol....maybe they shoulda got to that sooner

You know i love ya big T but you were HANDED the game against the seahawks by the refs (and i usually NEVER blame refs for a loss)....this game was more the steelers were lucky to beat a 9-7 team....not too good for the "best team in the AFC"....

k...my steeler hating is over....on to me hating the yankees for the next 8 months LOL

Coming from a Giant fan who stepped in shit last year with that hail mary at 35 seconds PLEASE HAHA!! I love it.

Big Ben now has as many game winning game ending drives as the greats buddy, overrated? 2 Super Bowls in 4 years, deal with it.

And the reason they didnt throw down field until the 4th was his receivers were blanketed for 3+ quarters, Its called the #1 rated defense in the league all YEAR!!!! Even though they didnt play there best game, it was enough to win.

Santonio Holmes bailed out NOONE, he should have caught the previous one thrown to him and BIG BEN came back with anothr perfect strike in the corner that only him could have caught, its called EXPERIENCE. And if we converted all out red zones visits to TD's all you guys would be bitching on how Arizona wasnt even supposed to be there yada yada yada suck it up and deal with it BITCHES.

    STEELERS SUPER BOWL CHAMPIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love listening to all you haters the 6th ring goes on the middle finger on the next hand for all YOU HATERS!!!!!!!!!:nuke::thongue2::dumb:

I agree the Cards made me realize how great they were and how AWESOME the Steelers are.

The Cards have a great coaching staff and they will be in the race for years to come, just not this year.

While I dont agree with that kind of play either you have to look at what he (the receiver) tried to do to him before he had him on the ground, the receiver went to chop block his knees. For those with no football experience and watching it does not mean you have experience playing it, being chop blocked at the knees can possibly blow one or both your knees out.

Attempt to do that to me in a football game and ill do worse to you. Going for knees is cheap, like I said I dont agree with what Harrsison did but there was a reason for it, he wasnt just pushing and punching for no reason.

cmon tony, do you really think (not feel) that the steelers could have beat either the giants or the patriots?

ill give you one thing with the steelers, they have a damn good offensive line....give that to any halfway decent qb in this league and you would have a real win yesterday. in reality, sb XLIII isnt going to be remembered for shit other than penalties and a wack play where the inexperienced team failed to play till the whistle blew.....football 101. dont stop until the whistle blows.

haha, and what is this about CA teams? dude, you live in ny yet youre a traitor steelies fan. cmon dude.

Anyone who took the Carinals plus 6.5 to 7.0 won bigtime.

Except for the Cards inability to tackle Harrison (thug POS) at the end of the 1st half, the Cardinals would have won. If it was a completed touchdown the Cards would have been 30, steelers 20. Yeah, I know, what if.

I'm just glad our Cardinals showed they belonged there. It doesn't matter what your record is, it's what kind of football you play in the playoffs.

I'm happy the cards did what they did. The Giants where not there, or the Eagles, or the Cowboys, all tremendously overated.

Hell the Bengals took the Giants to overtime, and the Eagles barely tied them, and they beat the Redskins. Only the Cowboys beat the Bungels in regulation. Doesn't actually say much for that division.

One interception made all the difference in the Super Bowl.

I'm proud of what the Cardinals did.

Everyone that said they didn't belong in the playoffs, STFU! LOL

Giants barely squeeked by us and that Pats come on man this aint 3 years ago with that Pats comment. But we will never know because the Jints CHOKED at the end of the year and the Pats well were nowhere to be found.

Its a different game once it goes to the BIG SHOW so we will never know, but what I do know?

    SUPER BOWL CHAMPIONS BABY!!!!

    The End.
I have to agree with you on the OVERRATED teams you listed HAL, I love listening to the Giants fans around here calling us lucky?!? LUCKY HOLY SHIT you stepped in SHIT last year in the Super Bowl with that hail mary pass that was actually caught, please dont tell me ELI was throwing it to him, he was throwing it to anyone in a blue jersey PERIOD. Dont agree with the thug comment about Harrison but we all have opinions, he smacked the receiver for a reason, chop block.

And just for the record I was routing for the Giants hard last year, seeing the Pats lose was just as good as a Steeler victory, NE can KISS MY ASS!!
