Yesterday I removed the airbox and disconnected the battery, then I realized I didn't have the extension needed to completely remove the battery and get to the tranny linkage so I put everything back together. Today I went to my car and when I tried to start it I heard the starter give a try for a split second and then nothing. So I tried again and the same thing, I heard the starter give it a try for like a split second but then nothing. So I popped the hood and thought WTF? Everythings back the way it should be I've taken that apart a billion times. I got back in the car and then it started without any trouble. So battery? I don't think I left anything on that could have drained the battery overnight and also I don't understand why it started fine on the 3rd try but nothing on the 1st and 2nd.
I wish I could offer some help...maybe just check your terminal connections. Maybe one is still loose. :dunno2:
I thought about that just now, I always leave my terminal connections loose so I can take them off with my fingers. I doubt that was it because I looked under the hood and it was connected but maybe. Shit I think my scangauge might have a voltmeter I should have thought to look at that.
If it does it again, could be the terminals are too loose. I would just tighten them and keep a 10mm ratcheting wrench (if still the stock terminals) in the car with you if you ever need to loosen them for whatever reason. OR if you want to be safe... I would go to Advance Auto Parts or AutoZone and have them test the battery. It could all just be a fluke but its better to be safe then sorry.
