hahaha...no i know i didnt put it on...i had it on and it REALLY didnt look right to me cause it didnt fit that well...so i just took it off...
Naw... it was my Christmas gift. I think she's gonna start pumping... the pump itself should be arriving tonight.
No sht! I grew-up and lived in Buffalo, NY for like 28 years. The carpets in my 1985 and 1/2 Ford Escort Station Wagon never looked THAT bad, even in the middle of January! Shame on you!
I will clean them at some point...until then...all i have to say is... :moon::moon::moon::moon::moon:
Very nice Ken! Excellent install job with the screws/bolts. No scratches or gouges. Nice. Momo! you payin attention? My preference is not for the style with the bumps though as those are more for show cars than the track. Oh yea... I forgot, it IS a show car:clapping:
Oh ya, well maybe from that day you had to scrape off the snow and ice. Crap, we're looking to get 2 inches tomorrow. :shout:
I do agree with you about the pedals. However, since the SRT8 is an automatic, and there is no clutch and no heel-toe-downshifting it works just fine. And since I left foot brake there is no transitions to worry about. The pedals have a better feel than stock for sure.
Thanks Stevo Thanks for the Nice complements. I was very unhappy with the supplied bolts, and nuts, so I picked up some new Teflon nuts for a better, and more secure install.
Those look nice. Jason installed his a week or so ago. He has the ones...like yours...that have the SRT8 bumber style badge. I have the SRT grille style engraving/painting. I like the bumper style better. Also, mine did NOT come with the dead pedal...what a jip!
Hmm, they do look nice...but that dead pedal is huge! Probably more practical though since I do rest my foot there.
it makes the car look SO much better...the pedals are something that most people dont think about but can make a huge difference
Thats the only reason I'm not bummed that I didn't get one, as I left for brake and don't rest the foot there....it sure looks nice though and you can't beat the price!
No doubt they feel better than stock and look really great but do you see the functional flaw? It's the gas pedal. Most people keep their heel on the floor when they work the gas pedal. That means that as you work the gas with your heel fixed on the floor your foot needs to slide on the pedal. As you mash the gas your foot actually slides down the pedal. Those are the same bumps that are giving you your grip on the brake. So it works "ok" because they don't give you all that much grip but you really notice a difference with a smooth pedal. I haven't seen any of the bump kind where they make them smooth/flat on the gas pedal.
I remember the days of ice, snow and cold... ah, SOCAL... expensive as fuk to live here, but can't beat a year round average of 72 degrees and sunny. Oh, mine are done and I didn't screw it up!
