So I posted about a few issues that I was having with the SRT recently (temps at 220 regularly, code P0430, rattling sound underneath, power windows would roll down after I would roll them up using the auto feature). Well most of the issues were fixed..... The rattling sound was a loose 02 sensor, code was the passenger side 02 sensor not switching, temps were "unable to replicate but that is normal operating temps for the 6.1" and they replaced some crap that controls the power windows. Well a few weeks after I got another SES light and code that ended up being the other 02 sensor, I bought it myself and replaced it, SES light turned off. Fast forward to last week, wife complaining about the temps still and now that the fans are really loud, also the SES light came back on. PUlled the code and guess what p0430 again . Dropped it off ar Melloy this morning and got a call a while ago... "pass side converter is are shot, that's a free replacement, Your fans are getting replaced because those are about to die, normal operating temps for that car is between 210-245.

Total is $100 for the warranty deductible, not too bad but still costing me $$$, car wont be ready until Thursday :cry2:

A predator and a 180 stat will "fix" the high temps. Cat likely failed because the sensor was failed/failing and giving bad info to the PCM and caused an overly rich condition...hope you get it back soon.
