doesn't that kind of defeat the purpose tho? that would be a greate marketing tool for dodge to discuss some new parts and try and sell us on them and why we should choose them over the aftermarket...

Trade secrets. First to market takes the prize. If you know what they're bringing and you can't beat them then you can plan your counter and be ready when they do bring it.

    LOL.

I know for a fact that the SRT Engineers were watching my progress as I put more and more horsepower on a 100% stock 6.1L long block.

I guarantee I provided them data they didn't have.

I also know they were surprised I DIDN'T blow up.

If anyone wants a simulated SRT engineer chat, I'm happy to host. :bye:

Dahahaha. Ding! Ding! Ding! We have a winner! We'll put the owners, JMatt, Cam, and monthly featured guests and vendors on the panel. We'll need a bit of an ad campaign for the kickoff. We can blast this on all the "other" forums.

"Disappointed in the SRT chats? Not getting answers to the questions you really want to get answered? Hearing "We're not allowed to comment on that" too many times? Ask how much? and the answer is we test to this much? Wished the moderators didn't allow the stupid questions? Come to the SRT/C Engineer chats for the answers you need and want!

    (Results from an independent study)

    Tech questions answered correctly:
    SRT Engineers - 87%
    SRT/C Engineers - 93%

Questions answered with "We can't comment on that":
    SRT Engineers - 42%
    SRT/C Engineers - 0%

Questions answered on raising your SRT above and beyond stock levels:
    SRT Engineers - 0%
    SRT/C Engineers - 100%

Stupid or inane questions asked during the session:
    SRT Engineers - 67%
    SRT/C Engineers - 2%

    :grin::grin::grin:

I was kind of thinking about a monthly series of chats. Not just a single gala affair.

That was a while ago (previous lifetime). Left HP after 11 years in '97, startup, then Cisco for 7 years (never talked to a customer there either :D).

Wrong, job hunting right now as a matter of fact.
haha, Wrong again. Was always just a little late, bought NASDAQ before it crashed and the rest of it just sort of disappeared or got spent on something? Still trying to figure that out.

haha, arent we all in these positions? im def wary of guys who come in that are fit.....it tells me they dont spend nearly enough time in front of a monitor.

i would also recommend linkedin. its a great resource for finding work and interacting with past co-workers.
