you guys are finally doing a tunner for the neon srt4 with the stock pcm let me know if u guys need the timing tables for the S2 w/toys since thats what i use and im local
Yup, considering the SRT4 shares a PCM with the LX HEMIs, it is a no brainer. Should be looking for some vehicles starting soon....
Nah, still banging away on the HEMI trucks, I'll keep you guys up to date as we make progress on the SRT4 stuff. Thanks Mike
J/K....nothing new as of yet, look for big developments on this tool once we finish HEMI truck... Thanks Mike
ass..:bye: thanks.. ill be looking forward to an update.. i really don't wanna buy the SCT. lol
I have a few questions. I know your reputation in a lot of the major categories is flawless, and your tunes have been used on some very powerful cars; however, there is little luck with the current "canned" SCT tunes available for the SRT-4, albeit a few offer decent gains. Anyways, on to my questions! - Will this tuner support all the "popular" modded SRTs, i.e. much like it does for the Cobra for a pulley swap? - Will this be able to flash staged ECUs? - How long before these go into a testing phase? - What features will this tuner provide? Fueling maps? ECU controlled boost?
- Will this tuner support all the "popular" modded SRTs, i.e. much like it does for the Cobra for a pulley swap? Yes. As I understand it, we may even offer 4 stages in the Predator, similar to the 4 stages of PCMs offered by Mopar. - Will this be able to flash staged ECUs? Not 100% sure as of now, but there will no longer be any such need for said PCMs once this is released. - How long before these go into a testing phase? Not long. We have tested it on the bench enough that we are confident in moving forward to working on actual cars. - What features will this tuner provide? Fueling maps? ECU controlled boost? The Predator itself will offer things like WOT fuel and timing adjustments, as well as idle, rev limit, etc. More involved tuning will be available through custom tuning. Thanks Mike
w00t.. cant wait.. can't afford it, but ill be picking this up as SOON as its available.. just to make sure, this is 'end user' (customer) adjustable, right? not something that has to be taken to a diablo approved tuner each time.
Yes, end user meaning you can alter settings right through the handheld, just like the HEMI guys are doing. More in-depth tuning will indeed require a trip to a CMR dealer for dyno tuning though. Thanks Mike
thats good to hear.. i won't need super fine tuning. i would just be looking to do my own street tune with a wideband. i've done it to a few cars, and i stick with pretty conservative numbers, so im not worried about anything blowing up. thanks for the info, ill be keeping an eye on this thread to look for updates.
So...I came in this morning, and Johan says, "I got an SRT4 tool".... So, Johan, I guess you'd like me to find you some cars for testing? "Yup"..... Game on. Should have an 03 in here this afternoon, I'll keep you guys posted. Thanks Mike
