Over these past few weeks the winds during my morning commute have been taking a beating on the front end of my car. Today I noticed that my front bumper, front part of my fenders and hood have all been pretty much sandblasted, not to mention pitted windshield, headlights, and foglights. My question is can this be fixed with a thorough detail or am I sh*t outta luck. Kinda hard to have a blacked out car when the front looks like its been sniffin crack.
You may be able to get some of the pits out, but repaint is likely required. Your insurance company should cover this minus your deductible? And it won't go against you or your rates...
Have you ever tought of using transport wrap film on your front end on those blasting wind days. I think you could buy a roll for around $60. You could look like a car that is being prototyped, maybe you might be cought on spy cam as new devolpment car.
I didn't think about the insurance. I will have to give them a call and see what they say. Thanks Ron Never thought about wrap. Have thought about using tape, then thought about the hastle off putting it on and taking it off every week
