Welcome to the Bay Area! I'm over in Dublin, off the junction of 680 and 580. There's lots to see and do, like going up to wine country or down to Gilroy for the Garlic festival. As for SF proper, check out the Wharf and North Beach. The Wharf has lots of great seafood restaurants and North Beach has the best Italian cuisine outside of Italy. My husband and I make semi-regular treks out to the Stinking Rose which is North Beach on the edge of Chinatown. Good garlicky Italian food...mmm..mm..mmm...:happy:
