    That should work just fine (that would be the "Cam fix").

    Did you drill right about the same distance from the cylinder as the original? You might want to keep sort of the same leverage the spring applied originally. Probably wouldn't make a bit of difference but you never know.

    Car shifts just like it did 54K miles ago. Of course I will feel better once BT gets mine to me one of these days. :)
