Thank God we're speaking of what-if's, DAve and that nothing was taken! Just got a call from the service advisor...daft enough to not be able to tell me clearly what problem is..."all the mechanic told me is that we have to order a new, self contained centre unit which will probably be 8-10 days to arrive but we're willing to cover off a two day weekend rental cost for you" So I'm back on with DC Canada to ensure they know I want it shipped same day not UPS ground for craps sake! My fingers tremble when typing in dealing with these motha-effing, air-exchanging mouth-breathers. Serenity now!!!

PS - DC's Windsor office is only open 8:30- 4:30 and get this...they close it for an hour between 12 and 1 pm for lunch...no voice mail, nuthin. OMFG I'm gonna loose it! Service Advisor - "Well...we've ordered the required rear unit, Mr. O'Leary, it should be here by Monday or Tuesday of next week and we're going to factor at least 6 hours labour so you should have your car back on Wednesday or maybe Thursday if all goes well. The unit we ordered retails for over $ 2000 but that's about all I can tell you at this point. Once installed we'll need to take it for a good test drive then you can have it back". Me - "Ummm, OK" (then I jotted down exact miles in case tech decides to take it for a long, hard 200 mile test run).
your response shoulda been...."ok....but this car does not leave the property until i get here...and i will FOLLOW you while you do your "test drive" haha
