Either one will help. I just need to compare to a regular cab. What is different between them? Is there an extra section between the catback and mid pipes on a QC?
OK... Here is a pic of the stock QC (2nd) mid-pipes on my truck. You can see (that) the magnaflow muffler is much smaller than stock, therefore there are (bent) pipes coming out of the front to connect to the mid-pipes. The stock exhaust has just about 4" of pipe (2-in and 2-out) coming straight out of it. Although, in the front, one pipe is slightly longer than the other one (because the mid-pipes are not equal length)... shown HERE: Second mid-pipe in foreground... looking towards the front of truck.... Hope this helps. :thumb3: Let me know, if you need to see anything else on the truck, and I'll go snap a pic for you. :boat:
wouldja look at that. made in mexico. now we know how ryan can afford an srt, he steals them piece by piece
Yeah here is what happened when they took one to the track during their lunch break http://videos.streetfire.net/search/accident/0/45af03ac-7442-46b3-8c46-d07658dbd6b4.htm
So... It looks like that there is a section between the midpipes and the catback on a quad cab. Is this correct? So the Magnaflow kit is still just a bolt-on the Quad cabs? Thanks!
Yes, Sir, you are correct. :thumb3: The Magnaflow kit will work on any '04-'05 Ram SRT-10 QC without modification.... The '06's require some different hangers to be mounted to the system (but, other than that, it will fit).
