ok, heres the deal.. I hate plastic hoods, they're wavey and look like ass! Im considering getting a ram hood and cutting it up and attaching to a magnum hood.
So you dont even need the whole hood to be in good shape?....just look at salvage yards im sure you can find something a whole lot cheaper...especially if your willing to take a damaged one since your gonna cut it up... i guess your just looking for the main scoop part right?
Correct. There's no such thing as "cheap" when it comes to the SRT-10. Even the oil filter is 3x the price of a normal Mopar one. A pre-owned one that's salvagable post-wreck is probably the cheapest way to go. OEM/dealer (unpainted) would be next. TIP: the Daytona Rams also had the same style hood.
