What he said and as we discussed last week now you have the opportunity to build it strong and forged and FYI your girlfriend said she was not interested in being your garage helper-LOL
hahaha a very small one... the screw came form the tbrottlebody shaft :mad2:..... but nothign i could do about it.... i'v got the motor loose just tring to bust the tranny off of it right now... or might bolt it together and pull it as one unit..
OUCH. yep... that can happen. If you have any questions or need something built/parts, we can help you. However, I advise you to add up the costs of what you are looking to do to get a rough idea what you will really be spending "just to get it running", you may want to consider going further than eagles/diamond if you have ANY plans for future horsepower bumps. As many find out, the costs difference between minimal and best is often dwarfed by the costs of just doing it in the first place. For example, our top of the line VS-1500 short block is about 14K, while building a "cheap" version of the same block will still run you almost 10K, and wouldnt have half the capability and longevity. The vast majority of cost is the labor, machining, wear items and gaskets. Whether you want this; or This; We have you covered :thumb3:
